At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,868 living in private households. 9.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 5.2%. 84.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 5.8% reported Indigenous identity.
