Notre-Dame-des-Champs (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,441 living in private households. 38.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 11.6%. 58.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 28.3% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $147,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 12.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 5.50 km², giving a population density of 1,536 people per square kilometre (Ottawa-Gatineau averages about 174).
