Parkwood Hills is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,720 living in private households. 42.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 10.4%. 54.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.6% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $68,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 62.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 5.94 km², giving a population density of 962 people per square kilometre (Ottawa-Gatineau averages about 174).
