Eastway Gardens is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,848 living in private households. 34.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 15.3%. 62.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 27.3% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $72,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 65.3% of households rented rather than owned.
