New Edinburgh (east-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,122 living in private households. 19.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 4.9%. 76.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.3% reported Indigenous identity.
