Notting Gate (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,876 living in private households. 25.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 11.0%. 70.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.7% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $152,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 7.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.96 km², giving a population density of 4,040 people per square kilometre (Ottawa-Gatineau averages about 174).
