At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,390 living in private households. 11.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 7.4%. 84.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.4% reported Indigenous identity.
