Barrhaven (northeast) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,242 living in private households. 53.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 13.8%. 45.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 42.3% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide.
