Fallowfield (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,531 living in private households. 38.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 11.3%. 59.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.1% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $130,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 14.6% of households rented rather than owned.
