At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,836 living in private households. 5.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.0%. 90.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.7% reported Indigenous identity.
