Stittsville (west) is a neighbourhood of Ottawa, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,095 living in private households. 7.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 1.6%. 90.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 12.1% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $143,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 11.7% of households rented rather than owned.
