At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,039 living in private households. 28.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 11.0%. 69.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.1% reported Indigenous identity.
