Vieux-Gatineau (north) is a neighbourhood of Gatineau, in Ottawa-Gatineau. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,555 living in private households. 13.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 26.4% across Ottawa-Gatineau as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 5.5%. 82.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 10.9% of the population, compared with 21.4% citywide. Median household income before tax was $82,000 in 2020, compared with $98,000 for Ottawa-Gatineau. 36.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.35 km², giving a population density of 2,629 people per square kilometre (Ottawa-Gatineau averages about 174).
